By Request DJ Company was founded in 1993 by Tammy Olson in Minot ND. She had been an engineer for Burlington Northern Railroad and knew that there was more to life than going up and down the same old track! She had went to college in Kansas City and earned her associates degree in Railroad Engineering. She then went to Meyer’s School of Broadcasting in Minot ND to follow her dreams.
After graduating from Meyers School of Broadcasting she went to work for a short time for KXMCTV13 and Provision in Minot ND. While working for Provision doing dances out at the Air Force Base she was encouraged by the manager of the Officers Club to go into her own business. Tammy then took out her first business loan and started By Request DJ Company. Since then the business has been moved to the Fargo Moorhead area and has been a growing and sucessful DJ and Karaoke Company. In 2007 she built the first photo booth to be rented out for weddings in Fargo. Presently Tammy has been going to college at Moorhead Technical College and will be finishing her degree in Computer Science in 2010. She a proud mother to five children.
