Labor Day Weekend

We had a busy weekend with some gracious brides and grooms. How could I ask for more?
I have been incredibly busy these last few weeks! We had quite a few weddings on this weekend because of labor day.
These past few weeks we have done a Hispanic wedding, a Hawaiian wedding, a wedding where the groom’s family was from Lebanon, and a wedding where the groom was from Africa (Tanzania I believe) and the bride’s family was Chinese. These are a wonderful taste of different cultures, different music and customs. I tried my best to learn something about their culture before each dance. I had great intentions of learning some Arabic before this last Saturdays wedding. Alas, there is never enough time!
Here are some pictures of Ikania and Mary Kaale’s wedding dance. They were and absolutely gorgeous couple. The wedding dance was held at the Radisson Hotel in Fargo ND. The Radisson was gracious enough to provide us with internet so that I could buy any music that I didn’t have on hand. This came in darn handy since Ikania’s mentor had requested a song from Africa that he and his wife had for their wedding dance. I was able to get it from Apple iTunes.
They also brought music that I could not purchase on line. The music was joyous and happy and EVERYONE was on the dance floor! What a great mood this couple set. Ikania and Mary I wish you the very best! Tammy Smith
