A Friends House

Posted in: Blog, Featured by admin on January 23, 2008

“Hey Hailey, where are you getting married at?” “I’m getting married at A Friends House!”

In case you haven’t heard The White House in Kragnes has changed owners! The new owners are Jeremy and Bobbi Kuipers. They have renamed the old White house to “A Friends House”. What’s more they have done some huge improvements. They are also expecting soon.. Congrats Bobbi & Jeremy!

Every once in a while I come across something unique and elegant that I think is worth telling future brides and grooms about. This one is A friends house. The reasons I think this is such a good place to get married are many.

1. Atmoshere

The best thing that you can give your guests “and it’s great for pictures” is atmosphere. They have beautiful bridal paths, gazebos and a chapel with inticate wood work. Fresh country air fills your lungs with the soft scents of the blooming flowers in the garden. The only sound you will hear will be of you and your guests. No noisy trains or cars going by. It’s just you and your wedding party!

2. Getting More For Your Money

The nice thing about A Friend’s house is that you get it for the WHOLE day! Starting at 9AM you have everything available for set up, decoration anything that you may need. You get to choose who the vendors are! You can save an incredible amount of money on a caterer. My personal secret for my own wedding was Sunmart Foods. The one in West Fargo is the only one that I would recommend. We were able to provide a whole meal with baked chicken and 3 sides for 175 people for around $400. The food is wonderful when it i fresh and they make it for a wedding! No one knew! It was more than comparable with many hotel wedding meals I have tried.

The other nice thing is that your guests won’t have to leave from a church to try to find your reception.

3. Owners That Go Above And Beyond

Jeremy and Bobbi go out of their way to make your day the best that it can be. They truly love having guests and it shows with the warm hospitality that they give out for each wedding. Jeremy has been know to give left behind guests rides back to their hotel at 3 AM.

If you would like to know more about a “A Friends House” or see pictures of the chapel and the grounds here is a link to their website.
